Journey
Journey
By Laura Thorpe
Our world is a canvas
The paint is our life
To your music I dance
Knowing I am your wife.
A road we’ve traveled
So many miles below
Yet the road is clear
There’s more blessings in stow.
A rainbow of mountains
Way off in ahead.
The moon illuminates
What we’ll do instead.
Each star is a memory
Each bump overcome
All I need is you
And I know that I’ve won.
Drive on we will go
However long it takes
I’ll be by your side
No matter the stakes.
Two lanes, one direction
A journey no doubt
You make it worthwhile
You’re what it’s all about.
